Anyway moving on. Poking around on aboutgundamwing.com I found out that Nichol shows up in that G-Unit manga as "Captain Cage" (Nichol Cage how cute!) who later joins the Preventers. In my own mental canon (because I can't bear the idea of Nichol being dead and I can't be bothered to read G-Unit) Treize gives Nichol promotion for bringing back Une and Nichol heads back out to space. After the war ends, he joins as the Preventers as Une's aid but eventually he quits in order to start a romantic relationship with Une. Then they live happily ever after or something.
